The Farmhouse Planks Table is designed and produced by the Frama in-house design studio. In the sentiment of traditional farmhouses, the table is solely made of elements of function; abiding by the notion of the simple life in the countryside whilst expressing a rural aesthetic. It represents a new timeless addition to Frama's Permanent Collection.
The Farmhouse Planks Table is composed of two trestles, two support brackets and two tabletop planks. The visible trestles resemble the exposed beams apparent at traditional farmhouses. The trestles are not fixed to the table, allowing the table to be quickly disassembled and relocated as desired and needed. The trestle's versatility allows it to adapt to all kinds of environments.
Entirely crafted from solid oak, the table pays tribute to the elegance and character of wood. It offers a delicate balance between the durability of the materials and the gracefulness of the forms. The Farmhouse Planks Table is an heirloom piece, gaining its own natural patina over time. The table is versatile and can be used as everything from a studio working desk to a dining table.
