The word échasse is French for stilts. This playful Échasse Vase by Audo Copenhagen is given a light expression thanks to four slender solid brass legs which elevate the glass into the air, as if walking on stilts. Designer Theresa Rand also took inspiration from the form of a laboratory test tube, creating a classic drop-shape vase constructed from coloured glass to give the vase a unique modern expression.
Available in 2 sizes for a variety of decorative uses. The small size is exactly half the size of the largest. This colourway of the classic design has amber glass with a bronzed brass stand.

Born in Germany, Theresa Rand graduated in 2013 from The Royal Danish Academy of Arts. As a student in Copenhagen, she fell in love with the city and the Danish tradition in furniture design.
Theresa stayed in Copenhagen after her studies and now runs Studio Theresa Rand - A design practice that focuses on interior design, furniture and accessories projects with a poetic approach.
