Andreas Engesvik is one of Norway's most prominent designers and a leading contributor to the reemergence of notable Scandinavian product and furniture design since the turn of the 21st century. He graduated from University in 2000 and the same year established design practice ‘Norway Says’ with two of his contemporaries. Many of the products and furniture from the studio have become contemporary classics produced at a time when the Scandinavian design scene in general, and the Norweigan design scene in particular, was mostly appreciated for the furniture icons of its rich past.
Today Andreas runs his own studio and works in a variety of design fields ranging from furniture and tableware to industrial design. He has long term collaborations with brands such as Iittala, HAY, Muuto and is the designer behind woven textiles created for Fram Oslo.
