Karl-Joel’s imagery aims to be relatable; and his figurative depictions of people look to steer clear of prescribed expectations around gender and other identity boxes. The Swedish illustrator’s lively, colourful works are created entirely digitally and focus on people, plants and interiors, with compositions that offer multiple layers of meaning.
Wrap cards are printed on 300gsm uncoated stock using vegetable based inks. The cards are sold individually and are sent packaged in a small box to prevent bending in transit. Each card measures 13 cm x 19 cm and is paired with a corresponding envelope in a biodegradable cello bag.
Wrap creates stationery, wrapping paper, greetings cards and publishes a magazine in collaboration with leading contemporary artists and illustrators. Based in the United Kingdom the brand works with their artists to create exclusive prints which are used across a range of products. All Wrap items are also printed and packaged in the UK using sustainable and environmentally friendly inks and papers.
