Created by Danish designer Asger Soelberg, the Salon Extendable Dining Table is expertly crafted for large families and those who love hosting guests. As a part of the Salon Collection, it is available in both Rectangle and Round Extendable Table variants, making it suitable for flexible dining areas.
The Salon Extendable Table features a brilliantly crafted design that effortlessly adjusts in length using removable extension plates. With each table including up to two additional plates, this innovative design is equipped with a high-quality synchronised extension mechanism. Simply pull on one end to smoothly slide the tabletop back and forth on the chassis frame, thanks to the wire pull mounted at four points.
Crafted from solid oak for both its tabletop and frame, and complemented with matching solid wood plates (Black MDF available on request), this table is not only practical and durable but also embodies a minimalistic Scandinavian style. The table edge is bevelled at a very shallow angle, making the table appear to be lighter and thinner than it is in reality. Thanks to its high practicality, extendable dining tables are an excellent way to maximise the utility of the kitchen and dining room space available.
Offered in two starting lengths - 190 cm and 220 cm: the 190 table can expand from 190cm to 290cm, accommodating 10 people, while the 220 table can expand from 220cm to 320cm, fitting up to 12 people. The additional plates can be conveniently stored beneath the tabletop. It is also offered as a non-extendable rectangular dining table. We suggest pairing the table with the Salon Dining Chair to complete the look.
