Palissade is a collection of 19 different outdoor furniture pieces that share the same principle geometry. Created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for HAY, Palissade grew from a period of research at their studio into outdoor furniture typologies. The collection is visually light yet reassuringly strong. Combining archetypal furniture references and simplicity in form, HAY have produced an instant classic.

There are few, if any, designers as well renowned and respected as Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec - often known simply as the Bouroullec Brothers. Ronan is a graduate of the École supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École nationale supérieure des Arts in Cergy before starting their own studio together in Paris.
The design duo started their practice as joint partners in 1999 and quickly established a reputation for offering a new perspective on materiality and purpose.
