Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Emeco On & On Collection breaks new ground with a circular way of thinking, combining longevity of design, durability and the use of recycled materials that can be recycled again - on and on. The stool is made from 70% recyclable PET, strengthened with 20% glass fibre and coloured using 10% non-toxic pigment, meaning that each piece can be recycled at the end of its life.

While being extremely tough and hard-wearing, the stool is designed to use as little material as possible, making it visually lightweight and the efficient use of plastic ensures a lower carbon footprint when shipping. Featuring a round seat, and gently splayed legs, the stool is remarkably lightweight and comfortable. Moulded in one piece, the chair's hidden crossbar construction under the seat ensures its stability. Thanks to the use of high-performance materials, the On & On Stool is suitable for indoor and outdoor settings.

It is also available with an upholstered seat and plywood seat.

In 1996, they founded their own studio for design and architecture under the name Barber & Osgerby. Since that time, their collaborative work has probed the interface between industrial design, furniture design and architecture.
