Gridlock's shelves wrap-around the vertical elements, creating a harmonious shelving wall with continuous horizontal lines. The system includes clever solutions with fittings specifically designed to simplify assembly and enhance functionality: Once the shelf is slid onto the back fixings it should settle onto the front bolts with a satisfying 'clunk-click' action. This easy and smartly designed assembly enhances both the practicality and durability of the product. Thanks to its minimal and timeless design, the system integrates seamlessly into any space, serving as an architectural element rather than just a piece of furniture.
The M1-A3-A2 configuration offers a classic arrangement to store books, magazines, or various display objects. This configuration features three shelves measuring 79 x 24 cm and two deeper shelves measuring 79 x 30 cm, all complemented by two essential side panels. You can adjust the components to your desired height. Component positions can be adjusted to your desired height, and you can also purchase individual parts to further customise or change your system here.
Chris Martin on the design - "It may look simple, but it took a few years to complete Gridlock: We had to ensure that all connections and details were functional, find the right production method, and verify that the system could be easily assembled by customers. Additionally, we wanted it to accommodate features that will be added in the future."
