Designed by Danish designer Simon Legald, the Normann Copenhagen Form series combines contemporary design with innovative industrial techniques. The name "Form" reflects the designer's inspiration drawn from the history of chair design. With a soft silhouette merging seamlessly with a rigid frame, Form is the perfect chair for everyday use.
Crafted from an upholstered plastic shell with a lacquered oak and walnut base, the inner shells are made from the highest quality recyclable polypropylene and have been moulded using a single injection. This process ensures the chair is extremely strong with a flawless surface. The wooden bases are then assembled and sanded by hand, ensuring stability and illustrating the designs craftsmanship.
Featuring a smooth transition between the seat and frame, the unique connectors are designed to adapt the chair to various base types such as wood, steel, and aluminium. The curved shell follows the body, ensuring optimal sitting comfort. The generous seat not only accommodates various body types but also provides ample room to adjust your position for longer periods of time. A 4mm thin edge at the top of the backrest provides flexibility, while the bottom of the backrest and the seat are thicker to increase stability and support.
