Designed by Italian designer and architect Alessandro Mendini, the Delta Proust Side Table combines artistic expression and everyday practicality. Crafted from recycled materials in a vibrant mix of colours, it reflects Mendini’s playful approach to form and colour. First introduced in Mendini’s iconic Poltrona di Proust armchair, a postmodern symbol celebrated for its hand-painted surface, the pattern draws inspiration from artist Paul Signac’s pointillist technique, composed of countless hand-painted dots.
Featuring a mosaic of seven colours interwoven with two shades of white, the pixelated surface gives each piece its own character, making each pattern unique. Its multifaceted shape creates a sculptural form that changes subtly from every angle, allowing the table to be positioned and appreciated in various ways. Made from 100% recycled pigmented polyethylene derived from industrial packaging waste, the table is durable and weather-resistant, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
