Designed by Massproductions Co-founder and Designer-in-Chief Chris Martin, the Crown Easy Chair features a unique and playful design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Martin streamlined the process of producing an upholstered chair by reducing it to only four moulded panels, resulting in a distinct sculptural aesthetic that stands out in any environment.
Consisting of four panels, the Crown Easy Chair is cleverly constructed with a playful element that sets it apart from other chairs. The backrests appear to float above the armrests due to a concealed steel joint, which gives the chair an open-back design. The sturdy construction of the chair gives the impression that the backrests are unsupported, but in reality, they rely on a strong steel joint for support.
The angled back and curved low seat offer greater flexibility and comfort to the user, making it perfect for lounging or relaxing in a living room or lounge area. Its distinct sculptural aesthetic makes it an elegant statement piece in any environment, while its unique and functional design provides exceptional comfort and style.
It is also available as a dining armchair.
