Designed by John Tree, the Apex Lamp collection takes cues from the classic Banker’s Light, merging archetypal references with a contemporary, colourful sensibility to create a distinctive lighting series. The folded steel shade forms a peaked roofline profile, which gives the series its name and creates a graphic contrast against the chrome-plated base.
Made from a steel shade and aluminium components, the lamp features clean lines and a refined, architectural form. The shade rotates 360 degrees, allowing the light to be directed exactly where it is needed for either direct or indirect illumination. A round chrome-plated steel base with a cast steel counterweight ensures stability during everyday use, while the gently angled stem gives the lamp a light and dynamic profile.
The Apex Desk Lamp offers a compact and practical lighting solution for a variety of interior settings. The series also includes a Clip Lamp, Desk Clip Lamp, Table Lamp, Wall Lamp and Floor Lamp.
