Designed by London-based designer Michael Anastassiades, the After series reimagines classic design archetypes with a contemporary approach. Named After, this series honours design heritage and acknowledges how each generation reinterprets the legacy of those before it.
The After Chair balances sculptural presence and tactile comfort. Inspired by traditional Danish archetypes, it features a broad seat and a curved ash backrest that reinterpret familiar forms in a refined way. The gently curved back supports the body with ease, and the generous proportions encourage a relaxed seated posture suitable for both dining and lounge settings.
Crafted from solid oiled ash or burgundy coloured ash, the chair offers a robust construction that ensures lasting durability. The open-frame design brings an airy lightness to the silhouette while maintaining a sturdy structure. Its clean lines and organic shapes give the chair a calm expression, complementing a wide range of interior settings.
An additional loose seat cushion is available in either blackberry or natural leather.
