HAY has now extended the palette of the AAC 22 Chair to include fresh colour and fabric combinations. The About A Chair AAC 22 design exudes the functional simplicity that is characteristic of this entire series. The solid outer shell and soft upholstered seat comprise a curved back with armrests in recycled polypropylene, providing excellent comfort and a soft unified silhouette. The four-legged wooden base, constructed from oak or walnut plywood, adds a timeless, classic expression, ensuring great stability and longevity.

The base is available in four different finishes and the post-consumer recycled plastic shell is offered in a wide palette of contemporary colours, providing a multitude of design combinations that give this series versatility in a wide range of home, corporate and public contexts. It is also available with a fully upholstered seat

The About series is HAY's most versatile furniture series. It began with a chair and blossomed into a series with virtually unlimited potential. With the About series, Hee Welling has proven that a single strong idea can hold a wealth of development options. Today, the series includes dining and conference chairs, office chairs, bar stools, lounge chairs, tables, a footstool and a sofa. All are equally suitable for private and public settings.
