At Really Well Made we're big fans of a dinner party and in our humble opinion we like to think we have some of the best tools and accoutrements around - to make your guests (and the chef's) evening even more entertaining. It's a hard job to pick our favourite pieces amongst so many stand-out items but we've had a go...
Jansen+co Bistro collection
New for 2016, the Bistro collection is an expansion of the incredibly popular Jansen+co tableware range. This year they have created a product line-up with a more sophisticated feel but also a fresh twist that you might expect from the Dutch brand. The archetypal enameled plate with coloured rim is reinvigorated in porcelain and signature gold elements bring a high-class feel to the collection. Some of the range is available now with the full set of tableware ready to purchase from early Spring.
Marimekko Oiva tableware
The Oiva range has been quintessential part of Marimekko's product range and an instant hit since it's launch in 2009. 'Oiva' directly translates from Finnish as excellent or superb and these words summarise the design perfectly. The pure white, glossy surface and smooth curves look completely timeless, enhancing whatever should grace it's surface. Crafted from vitreous porcelain these pieces also have a very high inherent strength, meaning they could easily last a lifetime if cared for correctly.
Muuto Push mugs and coffee press
What on earth is better than a good cup of coffee? The handmade 'Push' mugs and matching coffee press designed by Mette Duedahl for Muuto are beautifully tactile objects formed from unglazed stoneware. Mette creates innovative and honest objects where high-use everyday functionality is combined with a simple aesthetic design. The friendly shape and warm tone goes hand in hand with the cosy atmosphere created by enjoying a warm beverage from it.
