Chris Martin, the design director of Massproductions, created the Silo Wine Rack as a part of The Little Things collection. This collection consists of various small furniture pieces and accessories that are often overlooked in our daily lives. Chris Martin pays special attention to these objects that we take for granted and aims to enhance our daily experiences. The Little Things collection is a tribute to creating objects that can add a touch of beauty and elevate our everyday routines.

Based on a continuous loop, Chris Martin designed the wine rack in an unbroken line of wood, where the bottles rest firmly in milled-out compartments. Silo holds its bottles securely and in a horizontal position. The bottles have a 3.87 degree inclination to keep the wine in constant contact with the cork, something that stops the cork from drying out and spoiling the wine. Silo is a wine rack that takes its name from containers and is the friend of the Greek wine god, Silenus. The rack can store 4 bottles per unit and can be stacked up to four units high.

Chris Martin on the design: "I wanted to change the scale of the things I normally design. It turned out that it is a similar process as when I design furniture, it is the same struggle, even for smaller objects. But the reward is worth it because as the saying goes, it's the little things that make a big difference."
