The Ball clock consists of wooden balls mounted on metal spokes with a central metal casing. It's available in 6 colours and in celebration of the centenary of the birth of its designer George Nelson, Vitra introduced a black version with a brass casing in 2008. A high quality, quiet movement drives the clock and it is supplied with a battery.
