Designed by Iskos-Berlin for Muuto, the Fiber Outdoor Armchair offers a fresh take on modern outdoor furniture. The chair's innovative shell is made from a minimum of 85% recycled plastic. Each chair repurposes at least 3.2 kg of plastic waste, giving it new life. UV stabilisers are added to the shell's composite material, safeguarding the chair's colour from the wear and tear of outdoor use. A galvanised steel tube base with a weather-resistant and colour-matched, deep matte powder coating enhances its versatility. With its friendly, embracing curves, the Fiber Outdoor Armchair delivers extensive comfort while maintaining a functional and durable design. The Fiber Outdoor collection also includes a side chair.
Iskos-Berlin on the design: 'One of the most difficult and noble disciplines in design is to create simple, functional, and almost ordinary objects that still have a strong identity. The Fiber Outdoor Armchair combines simple, embracing curves with a clear sculptural form, manufactured using innovative materials. The shell is made from a minimum of 85% recycled plastic. During the moulding process of the chair's shell, waste plastic is converted into high-quality granulate, offering a new take on modern outdoor furniture.'
