The word échasse is French for stilts. This playful vase is given a light expression thanks to four slender solid brass legs that elevate the glass into the air - as if walking on stilts. Designer Theresa Rand also took inspiration from the form of a laboratory test tube, creating a classic drop-shape vase constructed from coloured glass to give the vase a unique modern expression. The Échasse Vase is crafted from mouth-blown glass, creating a sense of lightness while ensuring stability.
The Échasse Vase is available in three different sizes for a variety of decorative uses. This 'Smoke' Edition is made with a darker glass than the original design and has a greenish ombre effect.
