The Cover Chair Series by Copenhagen-based designer Thomas Bentzen is a collection of seating with a distinctive 'wrapped' plywood back and arm detail. The series also features an Armchair, Side Chair and Lounge Chair. Now two stool options have been added to the series: The Cover Bar Stool (75 cm seat height) and Counter Stool (65 cm seat height).
The Cover Stool Upholstered features a curved backrest which folds elegantly around a solid oak frame. This forward-thinking approach pushes the boundaries of what is possible with laminated wood. The tall, curved backrest delivers maximum comfort that allows its user to be seated for several hours. The addition of a permanent padded seat cushion increases the comfort level still further.
The overall design of the Cover Stool feels Scandinavian and contemporary through its light plywood material, paired with the solid and grounded sentiment of its frame and base in solid wood. It makes the Cover Stool a perfect addition to any bar or kitchen counter.
