For the Emeco '1 Inch' Collection, Emeco and Jasper Morrison together have created a new collection of chairs, stools and tables that reflect Emeco's time-honoured values and uncompromising standards. 1 Inch is a product family that is strong, simple, timeless and engineered to last. The collection features stacking chairs in various recycled materials and an aluminium collection for heavy-duty environments. 

To pair perfectly with 1 Inch chairs Jasper Morrison developed the base for this table, which also uses only a one-inch size, square extruded aluminium tube. The design is reminiscent of a traditional bentwood French Bistro table, but brought up-to-date with modern materials and advances like height adjustable feet. Made from a recycled aluminium base with an Accoya wood or brushed aluminium tabletop, the table is a sturdy yet elegant piece of furniture. Thanks to the use of high-performance materials, the 1 Inch Outdoor Cafe Table is a robust, durable piece for both indoor and outdoor settings.

The 1 Inch Aluminium Frame taps into Emeco's heritage in hand crafting recycled aluminium, leveraging its signature strength, lightweight and sustainability to create a versatile family of seats. With 1 inch series, the frame of each table is handcrafted using Emeco's time-tested material and 77-step process - a technique that has been used to produce the original 1006 Navy Chair since 1944.

These additional options for the base are offered at the same price as a black powder-coated base and a colour powder-coated tabletop is offered at a £164 up-charge per tabletop.

Supplied flat-packed and requires simple assembly. Tools and fixings are provided.

    Jasper Morrison is one of Britain’s most successful and well renowned industrial designers. He is best known for a design approach that makes hard-working products appear aesthetically quiet.
